Electronics pro acquires Flushing 4BD

Medium e82e03dd59dd958cfd1367759a6df15d Cong Deng bought a four-bedroom, three-bath home at 57-37 157th St. in Queens from Yan Jiun Liu for $689,000 on May 19.

The 1,819-square-foot house was built in 1950 in Queensboro Hill.

Deng was the optomechanical engineer at Zomega Terahertz Corp.

He formerly worked with Valco Cincinnati Inc., State Key Laboratory of Laser Technology, the Huazhong University of Science and Technology, and the Wuhan Optical Measuring Instrument Factory in Wuhan, China.

He received a B.S. and M.S. in optical instrument from the Huazhong University of Science and Technology and a Ph.D. in electro-optics from the University of Dayton.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 8,846 home sales in Queens during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $415,000.
