Realty co. owners spend $3.7M in Whitestone

Medium 8e41b0943926c14d76c4b0e0094df2bd Bill Kartsonis and Athanasia Kartsonis bought a four-bedroom, 5.1-bath home at 5 Point Crescent in Queens from George Sakellaridis and Annamaria Oppedisano for $3.7 million on June 1.

Sakellaridis and Oppedisano paid $3 million for the property in Dec. 2007. The 3,523-square-foot home in Whitestone was built in 1935.

The Kartsonises are the owners of Kartsonis Realty Co., a real estate firm in Astoria. Bill Kartsonis is also a founder of the Marathon National Bank of New York in Astoria, where he served as a chief loan officer.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 6,959 home sales in Queens during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $409,828.
