JPMorgan Chase exec buys in Kew Gardens

Mohammad Farooq Azami bought a townhouse at 80-83-Grenfell St. in Queens from Grenfell Holding LLC for $850,000 on Jan. 5.

The 3,220-square-foot house was built in 1901 in the Kew Gardens neighborhood.

Mr. Azami is vice president for global technology infrastructure at JPMorgan Chase. He has been with JPMorgan for 11 years and joined the New York office after working for India office as head of infrastructure operations.

He earned his B.S. in computer science and management from the University of London-Kings College.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 8,154 home sales in Queens during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $420,000.
